3 Bulgarians convicted of spying for Russia across Europe from base in UK

Three Bulgarian nationals in Britain were convicted by a London jury for spying for Russia, putting lives at risk. The trio, working on orders from Russian intelligence, conducted widespread surveillance on Kremlin opponents across Europe between 2020 and 2023. They face up to 14 years in prison, with other spy cell members already admitting to espionage charges.
